The Saints are going to win this weekend and drop two spots in the draft.

The Jets and Arizona will jump the Saints in the draft standings. Be prepared and don’t melt.
The Saints will defeat the Panthers and have their number.
The Saints are currently 5th in the 2026 NFL Draft Order and will drop to 7th.

I know were all hype right now because we won last week and shough played well.
But were 3-10.
To say we're going to win when we lose a lot more than we win is not a good take to have.

I agree. This team is operating on such a thin margin that it shouldn’t anyone if the Panthers win by 7 or more. I think the Saints should beat the Titans and Jets.

When will everyone realize that football teams don't tank for draft positions? These coaches aren't out there trying to accumulate losses on their resume, and the players especially are not putting their health at risk to lose games for a team that they may not even be a part of next year.

The Falcons loss was how you want to lose to tank. Be in the game to the last minute and just have out of your grasp. You aren't going to the playoffs so just be competitive.

The only time to get annoyed about this would be if it was a highly touted QB class that could make your franchise. 1 or 2 spots could make or break your franchise.
Seeing as how we most likely arent going QB and many pundits are saying its a relatively weak class, we would be better off collecting wins.

In this particular case that's probably for the best
The worst thing this team could have done this year is go 8-9 again. While I agree with everybody else they aren't going to deliberately tank to get the 1-2 spot, we still don't need to be back at 18-20 with the other 10 .500 teams.
