Sorry did not see the game but glad we won. Why was Herb ejected? I saw the highlights and it was brought up. Frustration or the official did not like him?

He’s a loser who has hung around Zion too much and has developed a loser mentality. Downvote away but it’s the truth

I upvoted bc I hate Zion, but I hope you aren't right. I do think Herb is overrated defensively, but maybe he's frustrated about losing and it's making act out in ways that are unusual for him. Maybe he feels like he's got to bark at the refs for the team to get some respect. Think about our team. We don't have 1 guy that the refs respect/fear. Maybe he's adopting that role. We did win tonight, so maybe it worked.

Because the ref was a fricking soft pansy bitch. Draymond green gets away with 20 times the amount of shite.

He’s definitely overrated, and this board constantly has a hard on about him.

Trade him if he’s so valuable and get some assets… he isn’t helping us win

I think he’s been severely overrated. He’s not THAT great defensively and his offensive game is not nearly good enough for the NBA.

Can't see us getting a whole lot outta Herb for the next few weeks. Just doesn't "fit" with our current style of play. I can't imagine us keeping Herb when he becomes eligible to be traded...assuming we can get a decent return for him. Not sure the Lakers have enough future "picks" to offer other than a 2031 first rounder...although Herb would fit quite well with them.

Warriors actually have more to offer for Herb than the Lakers...but who knows...maybe NOBODY really wants the Herbster and I have him overrated.

He was great defensively, before the injuries piled up. You don't make all-nba by accident. He hasn't been the same guy since those injuries though and is a questionable fit.

Herb and Looney for Kuminga and 2026 1st. Salary and everything works almost perfectly.

Shamit said yesterday we could likely do Herb and Missi for Allen, I don’t know if I would do that though

I don't hate this. There's really only 3 obvious trade scenarios:

Moody + 26' 1st
Kuminga + 26' 1st
Knecht + 31' 1st

Give me Moody + 26' and Giddey + 26', 30' for Z.

What has Kuminga shown that makes people interested in him?

I don’t know if I would want two 2026 1sts unless we can trade both for our 1st back from Atlanta.

Mac proposed a Zion for Collins, Bogi and 31 1st from Clips that I like.

With Queen and Fears playing like this I’m starting to look further into the future, they keep this up and they will get max rookie extensions tying up 50% of our cap starting in 2030, I start trying to grab picks around there also to try to keep putting young cost controlled talent around them. If we get two 2026 picks and they both hit then we are starting to stare down a huge salary problem like OKC is about to hit starting next season

He’s shown flashes of his potential, especially offensively. I think a coach like JB could do wonders for him. I would try to immediately get him to sign an extension in the 18 million range, that would be decent value that could turn into a great value.

I'd be happy with Moody/ 28' for Herb and Giddey/ 26' for Zion honestly.

Problem with Moody is it would have to be Moody + another player, he makes 2 million less than Herb and that would push GS into the 2nd apron.

To get a pick back from them I think we would have to save them a little bit of money, and the Herb/Looney for Kuminga trade saves them like 1.2 million and still keeps us outside the tax line

Easy solution:

Bulls: Zion/ Jose/ Kuminga/ Horford
GSW: Herb/ Vucevic
Pels: Giddey/ Moody/ P Williams/ 26' CHI/ 28' GSW

And if we can get an extra pick from CHI or get Ainge to play:

Jazz: P Williams/ Hawk/ 30' CHI (or future Pels)
Bulls: Zion/ Jose/ Kuminga
GSW: Herb/ Vucevic
Pels: Nurkic/ Giddey/ 26' CHI/ Moody/ 28' GSW

That pushes GS into the 2nd apron, so can’t happen. (Per the trade machine)

Also Bulls are not giving up Giddey, we shouldn’t want him anyway as he would just take minutes away from Fears

Maybe they don't. But we should definitely want him. Can you imagine having Giddey who averages 20/ 9/8.5 to pair with Queen? Him and Fears can coexist.

We should be trying to get the best single asset for Z and Giddey is one of those people.

Picks are great but we need another player to pair with Queen/ Fears if we are trading Z.

In the last month Herb has been the primary defender against SGA, Curry, Booker, Luka, Fox, and Jamal Murray. None of them have scored 25 points. Only 2 of them got 20. He is in no way overrated on defense.
