What are the best local sporting goods (e.g., Simmons, Nichols) stores in Louisiana?

Wanting to go put my eyes on some duck/deer hunting clothing before purchasing. Thinking along the lines of places like G&H in Gueydan, Simmons in Bastrop or Spotted Dog in Columbia. What are some others you all know of?

Sportsman's in Brusly near BR is good. I'm going to get hate for it, but Bowie outfitters has some good stuff too.
This is going to sound crazy as a Southerner, but a place called Fleet Farm in the Midwest is a big chain that's got a ton. I'm jealous we don't have them down here

Spotted Dog in Columbia is really good.

Shooters in Lafayette is like Bowies but with way more hunting focus and less fishing
St. Landry Lumber Co in Opelousas (not sure about clothes but awesome firearms and ammo selection)
TP Outdoors in Monroe.

Don't know why Nichols doesn't go all in on sporting goods, mainly hunting and fishing. And split the store in half for the fo fo shite and school clothes.

Great store. Stopped in day after Thanksgiving, was a madhouse.

McKinney Honda in Ruston always carried a nice selection as well. Bows, guns, and clothing.

I didn't realize that. Hadn't been to Gueydan in a while but their selection of duck hunting gear blew me away.

Spillway Sportsman also has good breakfast, ethanol free gas, and opens at like 4:00 a.m. or something GD early.

When I was a kid we used to sale coon hides to Tyner Petrus, seems like they had a buyer come in once a month or so.
You could average about $16.00-$18.00 per if you had 50-100, my dad had a bad arse dog and we also trapped them. I'd come out of there with a wad of cash for a kid

G&H in Gueydan, Simmons in Bastrop, Security in Alex are all good stores. Steinberg’s in BR was the g.o.a.t…

I grew up in Lafayette, but most of our camo came from Walmart. I do remember this place being pretty awesome the few times we went, but haven't been in probably 25 years

There's A place in Homer that is pretty good. Local shop. Lots of clothing, too, and decent prices for an independent.

Sounds like a bunch of good spots. Appreciate everyone's input.

I brought my son here to get readjusted for his bow after a league soccer game. The young guys there were awesome. The store was full of clothes and accessories. Got to try on and use a saddle.
I never knew the place existed. But I would drive the almost 2 hours from Houma to go give them my business.

Fun little place. The old school downtown square vibe is very unique. Too bad north LA has some of the best non-chain outdoor shops in the country, but residents of Texas, Ark, and Miss can't buy pistols, sporting rifles, or suppressors, w/o having to ship them to a local FFL.
They probably lose a ton of business because of that.
