Did a quick search and didn’t see a discussion on this one.

Highly recommend. Great storylines with very few plot holes. The acting was incredibly well done. Set in the rural part of Philly (near where I live), it was pretty to the “t” on the overall culture of the area.

There was a pretty good season long thread. LINK

The board kind of universally loved it. It was a great show.

It is worth a watch. Nothing special about it but there are some really good moments.

It does drag out a bit here and there. It could have been half the length.

Np.

Btw, the easiest way to search TD is through Google.

search terms site:tigerdroppings.com

Ex: task site:tigerdroppings.com

The 17 page thread is right on top.

Same.

When I finished it, I almost immediately wanted to do a rewatch, but held off lol.

Btw, I don’t know how a 7 episode miniseries is too long. It wasn’t a Netflix doc you could cut out half of it. There’s actual characters development and subtleties to be expressed.

If Ruffalo gets killed in it, I may watch it.

My one issue was why did ruffalo leave his crew to ride to the hospital with Robbie.

Mare of Eastown was better. Made by the same crew so if you liked Task, check Mare out too.

Mare of Eastown was great, too, I’d put Task slightly above it if I had to choose.

My guess is writers were driving home the underlying issues and wanted to show Ruffalo back in his former priesthood role kind of reading him his last rights and so forth…but for realism, yeah he should’ve stayed with the team.

No, I'm telling you it's a really good show... there is zero politics in it. No woke anything. Just a good show. Don't watch it, though.
