A mud hut village in Vietnam, live 15 to an apartment, open a nail salon and their kids will go to med school at Harvard. Why can’t some people figure that out?

In WW2 I had family killed by the Japanese. In Korea, North Koreans/Chinese wounded several. And in Vietnam, a Vietnamese soldier killed my cousin. I therefore should not have any affinity for them.
But I openly declare that they make fine upstanding Americans!

Then why are they mad at me for having more money, a better house, education accounts for my children and a very healthy retirement savings the ability to travel at will, pretty much buy whatever I want within reason without financing. All that and having paid taxes too?

There’s nothing you can say to make some Americans appreciate what the US offers, but people who come from countries where they’re getting shot at in the streets are grateful.

You see I'm free because I enjoy what I have earned and don't care what anyone else has or how they got it.
When you're a slave you're always mad at someone who you perceive to be better off then you are. Someone to blame your lacking on so to speak.
Never an answer with some of you.
Getting stuff for free doesn't make you free it makes you addicted to free stuff and a slave to getting something for nothing. It robs you of independence and the ability to do for yourself.
The United States of America if the greatest example of that. In this country you can become as successful as you want because you have the greatest opportunity in the whole world. Slavery id having a group of people tell another group of people you can not do something, but if you vote for us we will do it for you. Then for 60+ years they do nothing to improve the satiation for that group.
Democrats are still slave owners.
