Will Kiffs be able to flip 2027 WR Easton Royal?

Texas can’t be allowed to come in and snatch up the #1 player in the state from Brother Martin. The kid is electric. It’s really early in the process, but recently when Louisiana kids commit somewhere early on, they’re really hard to flip. Ex. Derrick Williams to Texas and Blaine Bradford to Ohio St.
Once Derrick Williams committed to Texas, I don’t even think he visited LSU again. We can’t let this just happen without a fight to the death.

It’s early in the process for ‘27. Give CLK and his team some time to build it. If we come out on fire next season offensively, it will work itself out.
One thing Lane was never short on was a progressive offense.

Texas always does less on the field with the talent they draw.

At the end of the day a WR is never the end of the day. Way too many of them in LA and this area of the country to be had when you have actual offensive coaching and QB play.

Can’t take anyone seriously that can get “Kiffs” out of Kiffin. Did your boyfriend put you up to this(

I am sure they contact him. At the end of the day it’s the kids decision and not everyone wants to stay in Louisiana
An education from Texas is much more valuable than LSU. Texas’s football team is pretty good to and they also have a lot of money.

I'll never understand why LSU grads (if you are one) would say this. I'm betting you don't have a degree from LSU. At least not one in the STEM disciplines.
I have degrees from both schools. LSU does just fine in the marketplace and, just as important, in the actual career trajectory once you get a good job.

Gave him a downvote just for Kiffs. But yes, knowing where his mom is from, LSU is still in it. She was a tiger in high school in Louisiana herself and seems to still be very prideful in the state and LSU.

I think Kiffy-Pooh has a fighting chance with this kid.

Nope, Austin got him.
Why do you say that?

It is a true statement that a degree from Texas is more prestigious than one from LSU in general and in many fields, though not all.

Where you obtained your degree will become less and less important in most professional jobs as you develop a reputation for innovation, work ethic, etc. Often, credentials you obtain outside of your degree (A PE for engineers, as an example) are more valuable than where your degree is from.

Kiffin worked the phones hard to get Rich, Lamar, Getalds etc to sign.
He’ll win out for Easton in the end

We’re talking about a kid who will go to “classes” for 3 years then go to the NFL. Why tf does the degree he won’t get matter?
