Here’s another playoff post

Most people have voiced their opinions and I wanted to vent it all in one spot.
Alabama - damn they lose the SECCG bigly and yet rewarded for losing and get in? Come on let another school have that spot. Vandy would have been fun.
Tulane & JMU - those conferences aren’t even the same as the major conferences. To allow them in and not let Vandy or even God forbid, Notre Dame, in makes no sense. I hate ND too.
Teams opting out of bowls should be allowed so the bowls will get on board with being a playoff leg. And if a team opts out, fine offer the spot to next in line in the conference. Don’t penalize a team for saying “no thank you”
LSU in Texas Bowl is about as boring as the Western Kentucky game. While I will watch, I’m not about to go to Houston for New Years weekend. If it were a better destination then maybe. But New Year’s in Houston sounds about as exciting as Shreveport.
I agree let the old BCS computers rank 16 teams and let it rip.
TLDR : rabble rabble rabble Bama sux, JMU and Tulane don’t need to be there; Vandy should have gone; Houston sux. Already said. BCS 16 teams.

Bama was the best SEC team in the regular season. They're more deserving than every other SEC team not named UGA. If you want them out, then OU, Ole Miss or Texas A&M needs to be out as well.

The game is on Dec 27th, you have plenty to time to leave before Dec 31st.

I think everyone should get a trophy and a t shirt and call it a great season, me.

Yea but their running attack is just as bad as LSUs and as of late teams have figured it out and bama has looked like dog shite the last 3-4 weeks

You should start a podcast. I would like and share

If Ole Miss or Texas A&M played that game the results would have been the same and they would have still made the playoffs.

Um Texas A&M says hi... they lost to Texas during rival week but otherwise owned the regular SEC season meanwhile Bama opened the season with a loss to FSU and struggled in several games this season and has 3 losses... please explain how they are better than aTm.

If A&M was the best team(s) in the SEC they would have played in Atlanta. They lost so they weren't

Exactly and they have trouble against a all out blitz. We showed that when we played them and UGA exploited it.

I guess you're not including the FSU debacle. They beat UGA by 3 and the dawgs have won 9 straight since.
Bama will finish the season with 4 loses. Probably 11-4 but maybe 10-4 given how beat up they are.
The playoff model has turned into a joke.

Yes, Alabama has the best win of any of the teams in the CFB playoff. That's one of the main reasons they didn't drop. Nobody can claim a better win other than maybe Indiana.

Was always the best system because it eliminated human bias, and rewarded strength of schedule so it encouraged the good out of conference matchups.

Shreveport is as exciting as the 4th largest city in the United States? Make it make sense

I honestly felt they should have been in over Bama personally. Bama was 10-2 entering into that game while AM was 11-1 only loss being an away game to their rival Texas. Bama lost to FSU and Oklahoma at home.

I live in Shreveport, Trust me there is nothing exciting about this place.

That isn't how this works.
And Bama beat Vandy head-to-head.

BAMA had 1 SEC loss, like several other teams, and by default of tie breakers etc, was the #1 seed, i assume. but they were far from the BEST team in the SEC, they had a terrible OOC loss, and several teams in the SEC only had 1 loss. hell, vandy has 2 losses, both SEC teams, ole miss and ags each 1 loss total, as well as uga.
the system is flawed tremendously by trying to apply "the eye test", the "most worthy test" and the "most deserving test" to the big players, while also having DEI conferences getting a pass. the committee is a joke, the CFP is a joke because they tell you they're going to put who they want in, when they want them in. $$$ is the reason, not bama being the regular season default champs.

They weren’t “allowed” in. They qualified for their spots based on the rule all conferences agreed on for the format of the playoffs.
