Woodward was fired because he blocked re-hiring Will Wade. The man who hired Wade after he was fired is now the LSU president. It’s definitely a possibility.

At the very best he’ll be 19-53 in conference play after 4 years with no postseason appearances except for a first round loss to North Texas in the NIT one season.
