No Notre Dame is the real news. Didn’t think the committee had the guts to leave them out.

A&M, not Tech.

Alabama not only gets in, but of course they're rewarded with a revenge game against Oklahoma.

Bama only second team to make the CFP with 3 losses of course. Clemson was the only other one and they had to win their conf champ to get in. Bama gets blasted by 21 in the champ game and drops zero spots. Fricking gumps get everything on a silver platter.

Nvm, that’s hilarious

Knew they were not going to leave bama out; what a farce!

As much as I clown on Backdoor Bama, it would be unfair to leave them out.
Imagine if that was LSU...

They’ve looked like shite down the stretch. Yesterday only exposed how over ranked they were to begin with, and on those grounds they could have been left out.

Agreed, a championship game loss shouldn't punish a team, They got the Notre Dame thing right finally.

I’m just glad the Teasips weren’t able to make their case.

I hope OK rips them a second a-hole.

quote:so explain BYU then? Both got boat raced in their conference championship games. Bama lost to Florida state, the cougars only loses are to Texas Tech. Why should bama be rewarded but BYU gets punished?

With Alabama having 3 losses this season they shouldn’t be in the playoffs .

so explain BYU then?

My only real gripe is Bama staying at #9, but I get your point Chicken. The committee got Miami over ND correct.

So they had to “make room” for Tulane and James Madison at the expense of several better teams. What a joke. We can call this first round as the “courtesy round”where these teams are surely eliminated. Then the real playoffs begin.
