No way the committee puts in a team in a conference where the winner of the conference is not in. I doubt that possibility was ever even considered. Last year Clemson was gonna be in anyway. This is the bama savior and I believe the only reason the tide will slip in the back door. If Virginia had won and gotten in it would be a little easier to include Miami IMO

Miami missed the ACC title game on some stupid tiebreaker. These conferences need to go back to divisions (or something) to limit this nonsense--Miami didn't even play either team that made the ACC Championship.

Alabama got their asses stomped by a team they beat earlier this year. Alabama should be out--or traveling to Tulane if they are in...

I was always a big advocate for conference champions getting into playoffs but the age of the super conference where 4-5 teams can can tied at the top because you play half or less of the conference has ruined the importance.

Just so you know, the committee doesnt read posts here.

Bama lost, they should be out

Nobody likes Bama anymore. Saban is gone

That’s probably a good sign they should be in. He’s not an intelligent person.

Agree - The current random tiebreakers among 4 teams or so that never played is stupid. Conf Champ games are also stupid. Put in some type of division, some type of intra conference pro/rel, or no Championship game. Make the final week, where 2 / 3 or 3/4 play each other.

Sounds like rationalization and desperation from a Bama fan in denial. Your three loss team deserves the couch.

I really hope ND is left out but I think the POS Committee avoids the Miami-ND conflict that they have been taken a beating on. That means Bama is out and after last night they don't look like a playoff team at all, what was it -3 yards rushing? ND doesn't deserve to be in based on their pathetic schedule, they play two teams worth a shite and lose both. You cant ignore the fact during their great 10 game win streak half of those teams have lost EIGHT games or more and beat one Top 25 team.
