bullshite. How can you take a team that didn’t qualify for the conference championship and leave the champion at home? That’s ridiculous.

At some point the games you win matter, Miami lost the games that matter. Duke won them.

Not really. They lost the same amount of games, Duke won the tiebreaker because of conference opponent winning percentage. It was out of both of their controls.

I can say without question that Duke is more worthy of a playoff bid than freaking James Madison. The fact that both them and Tulane are going to get in while teams like Notre Dame, Miami, Vanderbilt, and Texas are going to be or could potentially be left out is just retarded to me.

Duke’s only ranked win is against UVA, which shouldn’t have even been in the conference championship either because they lost a NON-CONF game to NC State. How dumb is that?

A 5 loss team with 1 ranked win and all other wins against the bottom half of their conference should not be in playoff.

And yet we're perfectly fine with putting in James Madison whose best win on the year was against an unranked Old Dominion team. I'm not advocating for Duke by any stretch of the imagination, but at least they played a decent schedule and won the ACC.

I’m not. Neither team belongs in. If it’s between JMU and Duke, then it’s flawed and not a legit playoff.

Who is the determiner of what games "matter"? The beauty of college football used to be that all games matter. 5 loss teams in the playoff GTFO
