Dumars was staff for the league. That means no one else was begging him to run their team. He checked some boxes for pelicans, but a local boy that was affordable. Gayle doesnt give a shite about winning.

To be fair, if this team was healthy and had a real coach they would probably be much better. No debate that Dumars has been awful outside of the two rookie picks, though.

That was the most damning thing about that bonehead trade he made. There is no way in hell a half sane person would look at this roster and organization and say, you know what, I think it’s just missing queen. Lol
