This time last year I was getting drug to hell and back for trying to even compare Berry and Sheppard.

Love to see it!

Lester Earl already owns this topic. You have to be his “ I told you so victory lap” assistant.

Brotha! The only reason I’ve been on board with Sheppard is because I watched him play from 10-12 grade. Yes, Lester was the first on here to say something, but we’ve been knowing for quite a while what Nate was all about. He was different. He was the best player on the field each week and it wasn’t really close. Especially his Junior and Senior years.

We all know you’re extremely slow, but please try to keep up. He’s talking about the star freshman RB at Duke who is from Louisiana.

You were right. Sheppard is easily better than Harlem Berry and Caden Durham.

Congrats to you and Lester Earl, I suppose.

Lester loved James Simon if I remember. Top 7 rusher for U Tex. Hook em.

Edit: if you think any of these dudes are better than Harlem you’re trying too hard to sound smart

I do think Nate Sheppard and Harlem Berry are very much on the same tier. Harlem is faster. That’s about it. Nate is more of an every down back because he’s really good at pass blocking and catching out the backfield.

Harlem will now feast in the new Kiffin offense. I’m looking forward to that! He didnt get too much action out the backfield this year, but he showed he belongs at RB1.

Sheppard is better and it’s not even really that close. Berry had more fumbles than big runs this year

Don’t be dumb. Berry has a bright future. There isn’t a running back in college football who has a successful year behind our offense.

Yup. That was a pretty big mental error.

His vision and patience are the two things that stood out the most in HS. What’s standing out now that he’s at Duke is his burst.

The “not even close” trope is silly. Sheppard looks good (not great) running against the likes of Uconn and Wake Forest. Berry got bullshite time in a bullshite offense in the SEC and stood out. He’s the better player if you had to compare.
