Ive always thought that “The Rockets” was such a bad arse team name/mascot.

Came here to post this. A great hire. Good luck to Robinson at LSU. He was a good recruiter for us but a horrible defensive coordinator.

Great hire by yall. ERob just needs to be a great recruiter for us and coach dline. Wont be allowed anywhere near playcalling

I'm looking forward to seeing what Kehres is able to do there. Toledo went into Starkville and took out Mississippi State 41-7 back in 2024.
His scheme is really good. It's set up to defend the entire field and limit big plays.

And he should be excellent at recruiting and dline, no question. For whatever reason, he was not a good dc.

Damn. That's a really good hire for syracuse. Surprised a better team didn't pick him up.
Toledo ranked No. 3 nationally in total defense this year and No. 4 in scoring defense. Kehres both consistently produced high-end defenses at Toledo and also helped recruit and develop players for the NFL, including Quinyon Mitchell and Darius Alexander.

Word is he turned down hc at Toledo and Nebraska dc for the syr dc position. God bless Fran Brown. He’s not putting up with losing. If/when Fran leaves (on a high note) Kehres could be there to take over, too. Yeah, a lot has to happen before then but we can at least be happy in the offseason.

This might work out good for us . Baker might stay a couple years before moving on to a HC job . Just enough time for Kehres to get it going at Syracuse. Then we can pouch him .
