We have all been talking about Blake Baker like he’s gone but he’s still here.

He has confirmed offers from both Tulane and Memphis but Lane is going all in on retaining Baker which means the checkbook is out. I’d think he would have already accepted the Tulane job but still nothing. Either Tulane is keeping it very quiet or Blake is truly conflicted because LSU is ready to pay him.

I think he's thinking about it. If what's being said is true about his wife prefer he stays at LSU, the kids are in school, and the wife & kids wanting to stay in Baton Rouge. Its a tough decision for a man who prioritize his family. But idk we'll see. I personally think he eventually accepts it.

he makes 2.5 here, he was offered a lower salary to go to Memphis and may get a lower than 2.5m offer at Tulane.
