They made a clear decision that 100 pts didn't matter. They were at 93 with two and a half minutes left and ran clock on each possession.

I bet $$$ if you start each game giving the other team a 10 (possibly 20) lead, LSU still wins

Grace Knox is a freshman but she plays like a veteran. She can shoot, rebound, dribble, and she plays smart.

This was a good win, but Duke had 5 losses coming in. Almost all against great opponents like South Carolina and UCLA, but losses none the less. They lost to UCLA by 30. They are coming off a loss to South Florida as well. This was our first test against a team with a heartbeat, but still plenty to clean up.

They can definitely score. That travels better in December than it does in march.
I saw a sloppy team tonight that doesn’t cherish the ball or really care much to defend.
There’s lots of talent, but lots of deficiencies that need to be addressed.
I’m sure Kim is up to the task. I trust her to coach em up.

I would agree, but they're still a good defensive team with talent, and this was on THEIR home floor. Last week South Carolina beat them 83-66 and we beat them IN Durham 93-77..................and that's with a slow start!

Things I liked..........................
-Joyner was VERY impressive on the block. THAT is the player I was expecting when she transferred in.

-Koval was doing a very good job protecting the paint. She didn't block a bunch of shots but, she altered a lot and was not very movable when she was down there.

-I LOVE Grace Knox's game! That is all

-Milaysia, looked good but had too many turnovers and too many crazy shots

-Mikaylah was on FIRE in the second half. Her jump shot is a thing of beauty

-Flau'je looked like she was trying too hard in the first half, but then got settled in the second. Then she caugh fire. She also had too many turnover though.

-Jada looks more and more comfortable. She's not spectacular like Milaysia, BUT she does NOT turn the ball over and her shot has come around.

This was the first game where I thought Zakiyah looked lost and a little overwhelmed...............................which you would expect from a freshman in a big game like this. Hopefully, she'll be fine moving forward.

Sloppy on the road, sure, three true freshmen on the floor, yes… I not pic all we want but we have a coach that can tighten them up imo

Great breakdown lsualum96
Was encouraged by our paint players
Mikayla’s mid/long range game is unreal
Fulwiley needs to rein it in a bit. I like that she’s got that extra gear, but she needs to use it more judiciously.
FJ looked mediocre at times, great at times.
This team obviously won’t be a tough as nails D, so I’d like to see them take care of the ball better, much better.
I don’t know much about analytics, but I can’t imagine that was a very efficient 93 pts. That’s fine now, but will need to improve.

They were running clock before that

There was definitely a noticeable effort to slow pace of play in the 4th

I think this team will play good enough defense to beat just about every team. I don't think they'll be the type of defense that will hold teams to 60 ppg consistently, but they don't need to. Also, I thought they were pretty efficient offensively considering they shot 60% from the field and 45% from the three. But they could definitely have cut down on the turnovers tonight.

Knox is definitely an all around, solid player. Doesn’t get the praise she deserves but her day will come.

When they turned it on the game took on a different tone. They will contend.

We haven't seen her against elite competition but they look like a very different team with Koval. And Knox looks incredible for being just a handful of games into her career.
