What if BK was holding Sloan back?

Joe Sloan wasn't the problem. Which is why he has an SEC OC gig lined up.
The problem was the QB.
The problem was the QB.

Does the Pope crap in the woods?

He didn’t trust his o line which led to more and more conservative play calling. They knew they had a good defense and tried to win games 17-10. If the tigers had managed to play thay way and were 11-1 right now it wouldnt have mattered, but ultimately you have to score to win and by the end he was so In his own head that he didnt want to take even the slightest risk which is an insult to dudes that lsu has that can make plays

I think BK was more of an issue than we know.
I believe Sloan will do better at his next stop than he did under BK.
Every position group on the offense was so bad. I don’t believe that many coaches on a LSU staff could ALL be that bad.
Not saying they’re great coaches, but I do believe they will all do better when they are NOT working for BK.
I think BK brought the entire team down, players and coaches.
I think the only reason the defense was different is because Blake Baker is a strong enough leader to not allow BK to affect his men.

He's got a good HC to learn from

I don’t think he’ll be calling plays

Who was our quarterbacks coach, again?

He was a problem at La Tech and he was a problem at LSU. Never seen a QB regress like that.
Kentucky smoking crack for hiring him

I guess we'll find out. It is pretty amazing he found a new job so quickly. I'd be willing to bet there's been zero interest in Kelly since he got canned.

Doesn’t matter; it’s on him. He’s in charge of the offense and they were an embarrassing red zone team and rushing team for two years straight.

He better because he won't be afforded near the talent he had at LSU
