Well, might not be a bad idea to see him start the Bowl Game

Go for it JJ. Who knows, Kiffin may like what he sees.

I’ve been saying this since midseason.

Show them what you can do, JuJu!

he's the current back up? Which means he's the fan favorite!

But seriously, put the dude in!

I’m usually very positive, but I have a bad feeling.

And this pisses me off more than anything from this past year that we were told by Kelly that JuJuan was running some QB plays during fall camp and we were going to utilize his talents, especially in the red zone... I guess that all was load of crap as well.

JJ has better vision running the ball then any RB on the team imo.

Not sure how he'll do as QB, but he's more than adequate at the running portion of a dual-threat guy.

Dude could probably run the offense effectively and they would have to put another person in the box to defend. He would definitely be able move the sticks.

If anyone can develop him kiffen can. Definitely give the kid a shot and if he can redshirt sit him out a year and continue to develop him and let him have that shot.

I've seen enough of MVB to want to see Ju'Juan at QB for the bowl game, just would be at minimum more fun

Several have pointed out Johnson's issues as a QB in HS...prone to panic sometimes...prone to making mistakes, etc. But "Martin" Van Buren is a shitty QB. OU could have had MORE INTs than the 1 they got. That one in the EZ a HS QB of decent ability would not have thrown that ball on a line...just loft it over the guy's head. Or he could have run it in. His decision making was hideous...he had happy feet even when he didn't need to...and a couple of his passes to WIDE OPEN receivers were either short or behind the guy. MVB is nothing more than an emergency QB at best. Maybe Johnson is not any better but I can't see he could be worse. Plus, Johnson is clearly the much better runner.

Albeit I realize it was different circumstances, but we did play Jontre Kirklin at qb in bowl game. I think everyone would say JJ is a better athlete. What have we got to lose, let Lane see what he has to work with under some live fire.

He’s 6 feet tall and all of that yardage came at lower level football. I like the kid and hope he’s happy here…he’s not a college QB
