What’s the focus of Richard Anderson’s strength and conditioning going to be?

If he’s really 340lbs as a senior in high school, then I’m guessing he’ll have to work hard to make sure his playing weight stays low enough. It’s kind of like Tyler Shelvin except Richard is probably a better athlete.
Maybe if Coach O joins the staff he’ll be telling Richard to eat gumbo with no rice.

If O we’re going to be on staff it would’ve been announced by now

I mean, he did just interview for the Tulane HC job.. Don’t think he’s getting it but there’s always a chance. If he doesn’t, I’d imagine he’s coming to be the DL coach here. Just need Tulane to make a decision for multiple reasons.

As of now prolly focusing on walking his big arse to the fax machine and sending his paperwork to LSU because he still hasn’t sent it.

I just had a vision of him trying to figure out the fax machine and getting so mad he just lifts it over his head and throws it out the window

Let’s get him signed first before we worry about his conditioning

LSU will turn him into swimsuit model
Hahahaha

The kid looks good for 340. Just being in the weight room and on a meal plan will change him up. Dom McKinnley from Freshman year to Sophomore year was absolutely nuts.

I watched his “signing “ video yesterday. He did look fat.

Not necessarily. They might be waiting to see if he gets the Tulane job.

He'll tell him to cut out the rice and add tater salad.

He’s gotten much bigger over the last year. Like Coach O says though, he has athletic ankles.
The trainers will draw up a personalized nutrition plan that will have him leaning out quickly. He will probably weight fast

By reporting, he is very quick for that size. I think the most important thing is to maintain/improve his explosiveness at whatever his optimal weight is going to be - whether that is 325, 340, 355, what have you.
