At this point, Penn State should actually consider Brian Kelly.

They have nowhere else to go. BK can get them 8-9 wins consistently in the Big Ten.

Is Kelly actively seeking a job like he is supposed to? I haven't heard his name for any job openings.

Yes totally. He's a perfect fit for Penn State. They should shut down the search and grab that man.

No one is a perfect fit anywhere if they don’t actually work.

And I think the guy is that fricking arrogant that he thinks he did nothing wrong and his demise at LSU wasn’t his fault. I’d seriously hire toledos defensive coordinator before I hired BK. At least the guy would try

I agree. He is good at taking over a mess and righting the ship. Maybe getting fired humbled him. Go get your man, Penn State!

Even the checked-out version of BK would win 9+ in 2026. Their only tough games are Michigan, Washington, and USC. The rest is a joke.

I mean, after all the shite that came out about him not actually doing his job here, would you want to hire him? To make it worse, doing just enough to not get fired for cause so he doesn't lose his money? Guy is fricking worthless.

Everyone deserves a second chance. It seriously may have humbled him to fail at coaching for the first time in his life.

He is absolutely PERFECT for Penn State.

You aren’t convincing anyone with your anonymous message board post. So are you a retard with an awful take or just dumb for thinking you’re being “clever”

If he’s actually ready to put the work in, they could do considerably worse than Brian Kelly. The fans might even welcome the hire, given the circumstances.

But none of that absolves Pat Kraft (Penn State AD) from totally dropping the ball here. They were the first major job to open, yet this is where they find themselves.

The options appear to be:

1. Be leaderless for the 2026 football season

2. Hire Brian Kelly, pay him millions, and be leaderless for the 2026 football season

Smart enough to recognize a false dichotomy.

Smart enough to recognize its not beyond possibility that a guy who has failed for the first time in his life at his job had a wake up call that reignited the fire in his belly.

But, alas, not smart enough to not feed the troll. Have a good one.

They should take Burger King, but I think they are waiting on Mike Tomlin … apparently he might be done with the Steelers

Kelly is retired.

Will just have an interview every now and then to keep those 56 Million dollars checks coming from LSU.

Probably schedule those interviews between his golfing, fishing and trips abroad !!
