Is this an on-field role? If so, it will be curious how Lane ends up structuring his staff. My understanding was that there are only 10 spots for on-field assistants. With the announced signings yesterday, that already makes 5 for offense and no RB coach or OL coach yet announced. Anyone know how the math on all this works?

That's old math. Analysts can now coach and the number of headsets allowed on the sidelines has been upped. Staff is basically unlimited now.
