They’re rich and can afford the payment.

The Justice Department’s (DOJ) account of JOH is blunt. In 2024, a federal jury convicted him “on all three counts in the indictment, which included cocaine-importation and weapons offenses.” Attorney General Merrick Garland said Hernández “abused his position as President of Honduras to operate the country as a narco-state,” where major traffickers operated with “virtual impunity.”
I find this funny.
I’m willing to bet we helped in the drug and weapons trafficking under multiple presidents. Under Biden the US government became the largest human trafficking organization in the world and we reached our peak with drug overdoses.

We're droning the pawns while the king stays the king.

Common sense would dictate there are things we don’t know - and never will, and shouldn’t know - that justify this move - that guy is probably singing like a Canary and providing mounds of Intel.
No different than a DA reducing a sentence for a Mob Boss who opens the “Books”.

I don't think Trump had corrupt motives. I think it was purely a political move to strengthen the US's position.
I don't buy the unfair prosecution. The Trump DEA investigated Hernandez thoroughly.

The Federal Government created the opioid crisis. In trying to "fix" the opioid crisis the Federal Government created the fentanyl crisis.
Considering that clusterfrick has spanned several decades now, multiple administrations are responsible, yes.....even Donald 1.0.

Those are my words.
I’m just following the protocols of the Trump DOJ: heads of narco-states are considered terrorists.
