You’re about 4 months too late to this conversation. The Nuss Bus got stripped for parts and is now lucky to be a 6th round pick in the NFL.

Why waste the pick, have Nuss go the undrafted free agent route? He will have inside route where his dad is the offensive coordinator. That will ensure he has a spot even if it is on the practice squad or a janitorial position.

He toasted his draft stock at LSU this year. Will probably end up being a Saint but undrafted and on practice squad

Both Nuss and Aller are interesting prospects. Both have played at a high level but fell off the radar. If either is sitting there in the 6th or 7th (I know we don't have a 7th rd pick currently) I'd pull the trigger on them as a lottery ticket pick.
