Not sure what he sees in ucla. I’d wait for a better job. UCLA is a dead program.

Not if they're changing and making the financial commitment.

UCLA has agreed for him to coach in the CFP, if JMU makes it.

Way too competent a hire for normal UCLA standards.

that’ll be a first because they’ve been notoriously cheap for most sports. Plus the fan base is completely dead there. No atmosphere.

Either way it’s a good hire for UCLA. He’s done well since the shift to D1 for JMU

Man Sitake has a good thing going at BYU, might even be easier for him to make the playoffs in the Big 12 vs Big Ten at PSU. And he's an alum. I don't get him leaving, but money talks.

Damn good hire for UCLA. I really don’t know where Penn State goes unless the Heupel/Deboer stuff is real. Sitake would be better off staying at BYU, easier path.

He should have been Kentucky’s first call.

I think he is a great coach, but I also think his situation is perfect with BYU. That would really surprise me.

Damn. I would have taken the Tulane job over that shite. That’s close to a no-win situation until their athletic department decides to get serious about athletics again. His predecessor at JMU picked a school that did that and followed through. I’m not sure I buy UCLA doing the same.

That would be such a weird hire imo.

Sitake doesn't even seem like the type of coach to leave byu.
