Jeff, you need to put a high priority on cleaning up Baton Rouge. Yes for our new coach and his family, but also for every citizen of Baton Rouge and every visitor.
There were hundreds of negative posts on every teams forum about why would Lane risk moving his family to BR. We are glad he did, but all the comments are precipitated by the fact Baton Rouge is a dangerous cesspool of crime and dilapidation. There was a sign in the back drop on Game Day SC game last season. “Win or Lose, we don’t have to live in Baton Rouge”. Clever and sadly true.
1) Aid in every way Removal of every single person in the city illegally. Which I feel is being done by your cooperating with Fed Agencies. Thank You.
2) Change whatever needs to be changed that allows so many arrested for all crimes by BRPD to be released into the city to commit crimes and kill again. This has to stop ! The usual suspects need to be sent right up the river to
“The Farm”.
3) It’s obvious no one in BR can fix or even slightly improve traffic congestion. Hire a firm to come in for a plan. And then, oh yea. IMPLEMENT the plan.
That’s a start anyway…

Even though DC has a mayor, it's a federal district and the Feds can do almost anything they want there.
