I didn't see that Lane was bringing over his o line coach which I would have loved him to do.

No way Brad Davis is the o line coach going into 2026. Right????

It’s been like 10 hours. He will find someone and it won’t be Davis.

No Cregg sucked! No 5 star recruits or nothing!! We need a big time Oline coach like the one at Ohio State or Georgia!

OL guru Sam Pittman all the way. He's available and should be ready to roll with less pressure as a position coach. Get it done Lane!

Stacey Searels is the O-Line coach at Georgia. He coached O-line at LSU under Saban and Miles however, he and Kirby are tight and he would never come to LSU right now.

Cregg is a very good (note: not quite 'excellent') OL coach. And since recruiting is very different now he'd be a sure upgrade. Theoretical: If we had Cregg would Lance Heard have stayed and been developed (this year: 0 sacks & 5 pressures allowed, 80.1 PB grade... pre Vandy)?

Kyle Flood needs to be higher up on that list IMHO.

Other than Flood my wishlist includes Jim Harding (Utah), maybe we can steal Alex Atkins (FSU), & Sherrone Moore (fat chance!).

If you want an up & comer (I don't) look at Liberty and Bill Durkin or Toledo- Mike Hallett. Both fall under the idea of 'hard nosed' but their technical side is in question.

At the end of the day LSU leads the world in sports medicine and technology. With that technology there is absolutely no reason to not have technically proficient OL.

Alex Atkinson is number 2 on your list, he might be easy to locate for an interview.

I would rather Rob Sale over Pittman, much younger and lsu alum. He will be much better at recruiting and has great connections in North LA

This would be fantastic imo. Honestly, I wouldn't hate Pittman either and have the previous HC experience would only help Lane.

As long as it's not Brad Davis I am happy at this point lol.

he's #2 best Oline coach in america in our Oline was the worst in america. How does that correlate? What kind of players did LSU recruit to be that bad with that greatness in coaching?
