I was reading on the Florida site that we also used turnkey and that turnkey dropped Florida as a client? They may have been making it up like everything else but I thought it was interesting to say the least.

It’s all rumors and speculation, but the story goes is that Stricklin and Gary Condron, big Florida booster, ignored their recommendations, and essentially went rogue.
It’s also been said that once the news broke that Florida dropped Lane (not the other way around), LSU went to Turnkey, and Turnkey handed over all information regarding Kiffin to LSU.
It’s possible that Lane dropped Florida a week prior to all of this, but for some reason, the UAA decided that flipping the story would somehow make the UAA look better. However, it made them look like bigger retards.

LSU has used a search firm in the past, but I can’t recall the name. I don’t recall for which coaching search. Teams listed are “recent” clients and are likely posted as an advertisement so to speak.
Turnkey helped UF in it’s search that resulted in Todd Golden’s hire. So idk why UF’s logo isn’t on its list of recent clients.

Seems to me once LSU got rid of BK and put their nuts on the table for Lane and signaled their intention to leave them there til the end, Stricklin got antsy and backed down, then put out a story of how they were backing away because of Lane’s actions.

I am going to be careful here but what is being shared is Florida didn't have good answers and Kiffin stopped talking to them and that is why Florida quickly reversed course and started leaking they "pulled out" and why they went to other candidates.
My family on my mothers side have been longtime season ticket holders and they have said Florida really doesn't care about their football program they just want to do the bare minimum to try to appease the fanbase that does....obviously that is speculation on their part but that is the vibes they have going back to Meyer.
