These 2 had some awesome battles in the last 2 LSU/Ole Miss games. Sure they both have a great respect for eachother and will have both sides of the ball humming next year

Practices are bout to get competitive as hell too. We gonna compete for a title as soon as next year i feel it

Baker is a must retain, IMO. At least for year 1 of the new regime. Defense could be lethal next year of no turnover from coaching standpoint.

If Baker stays I really think Lane and the offensive staff coming with him can really help Baker get even better by them telling him tendencies they saw what what parts of his defense they felt best about attacking over the last two years

He’d be better off staying 1 more year at LSU. He has a lot returning next year and could get his name into better jobs with another great/possibly better season

Sounds like he will be, but I would not blame him for taking the Tulane gig if offered to him

Exactly! Baker had no help from this horrible offensive staff we just had.

Well that and the potential to have long sustained drives that can keep the defense off of the field.

And by having a competent fricking offense.

If the offense stays in the top 5 year after year, any years that the defense can crack the top 30 they’ll win it all.

Baker will look better just by not being on the field all game.
