Reading through other forums, a bunch of other fanbases are dumping on Lane now because how he left Ole Miss...

How is this any different from almost every other coaching hire, in this cycle and any other? Hires happen at the same time every year.
Rhetorical. I'll answer. It's because of "the playoffs". So are teams supposed to just never hire any coaches who have anything to do with the playoffs, because of the timing of the calendar?
It doesn't make sense. I am convinced that people are just mad we hired a good coach

Hell, talked to a buddy in an AD at another school and he said LSU was a laughing stock at that point. Guessing we'renot any longer...

Expect more of this from every school in the nation. Nobody competing in college football not wearing LSU colors is going to be happy about the union between LSU and Lane Kiffin. Domination incoming.
