What happened:

Kiffin begged to coach Ole Miss through the playoffs. LSU agreed to let him. Ole Miss said no, no players meeting and any coaches considering leaving, get out. I don’t blame Ole Miss, but that’s what happened.

What they will SAY happened:

Kiffin abandoned his players, and destroyed their playoff hopes by pillaging the Ole Miss staff. Kiffin burned down Oxford on the way out and didn’t even have the decency to meet with his players. LSU hired a terrible guy with no regard for Ole Miss’ best season in recent memory and no regard for their postseason hopes and the players will suffer because of it.

If Ole Miss would have played this whole thing cool and let him coach through playoffs there's probably a 50/50 chance or better he stays.

Who cares? We can play the villain. Lane getting here sooner benefits LSU anyway

I’m sure Kiffin will take his opportunity to clear the air on what is actually true. This drama is just getting started guys.

Talking heads bashed Brian Kelly and LSU for the timing when he was hired for about two weeks. Then the world moved on. Same thing will happen here. Create content…move on to the next thing.

With Kiffin at the helm, I am more than happy to play the heel of CFB if that’s how ppl wanna frame it.

This will be a blast.

Kiffin didnt do that, Ole Miss did. They could've let him coach the playoffs.

I can say this with 100% certainty, I couldn't give a single solitary frick what the national media thinks about anything. They blast LSU anytime they get the chance.

If someone early in this season would have predicted that during OM's best season, it would be an implosion of epic proportions I would have laughed.

Ole miss and Carter especially pissed down their leg and pushed lane here. If he makes a deep run he may have stayed imo

Why does everyone seem to forget he tried this shite at Alabama and got fired because he couldn’t focus on coaching Alabama?

This has always been about Lane and what he wants - not what is best for the organization he is paid handsomely to coach for the season. That seems to be the huge red flag that everyone is missing. His priorities will always come first. When you have an individual that is less concerned about the organizational goals and more about his personal goals, the organization will lose at some point.

That is a lack of character. You haul everyone to Ole Miss, get them to believe in what you are building, then bail before the job is done. That is not the type of character you want on your sidelines because he is likely to do the same thing to you. You want someone who sees things through. That is not Lane.

When you try to buy championships, you get Jimbo type of results. You should know this after the whole Brian Kelly ordeal, but it appears like that lesson needs to be taught a second time.

I certainly hope so concerning stacking wins and titles. Honestly I couldn’t care less about national respect. The Canes just went into stadiums everywhere and beat the respect out of you. We need to do the same.

Fan bias is so fun and interesting to watch.

If this was any other team, you'd be piling on about how big of a piece of shite Lane Kiffen is with every other LSU fan on here.

If it's your team: you're all good with it.
Another team: he's a piece of shite and would never want him as head coach.

And don't worry, every LSU fan is exhibiting this. It's natural, but still fun and interesting to watch.
