Telling Kiffin he can’t coach the playoffs.

Playing hardball and in turn Kiffin is playing hardball back and going full force to poach staff and for sure will poach players.

he was always going to try to poach coaches and players that he wanted. Has nothing to do with OMs stance.

I would rather go down this route than have someone who is LSUs coach coach us in the playoffs

Yes, but to be fair, it’s as no win a situation as you can be in. Kiffin holds the cards.

I mean I totally get why ole miss would not want him to coach the playoffs. I don’t think that’s unreasonable at all given the schedule, calendar, rivalry, etc.

Lane trying to take his preferred staff and players is not some reaction to it getting heated. That’s the norm and to be expected.

Ole Miss is 100% In The right here. Roles reversed LSU would feel the same

Yes. They had one taste of success and thought the ruled college football.

Back to being irrelevant is not going to taste good.

On the bright side, fresh rivalry hate

Do you honestly think if LSU was in this same situation you'd have no problem the coach staying to coach?

The good news is no one will be coaching Ole Miss in the playoffs.

You’re getting left out.

Probably would. But that doesn’t mean it’s the smart thing to do.
