Not necessarily fire him yet but suspend him or something like that. It’s getting out of hand quickly at Ole Miss.

Not for Ole Miss. Lane is melting down.

He is a great coach, but you know by now what else you are getting. Take it easy on him, he is a bit fragile

I would lock him out of the facility if I were in charge at OM.

You can’t expect to be welcome at the office while threatening to leave and take several key figures with you. If it were up to me, he’d be locked out and his passwords changed. He’d be fired for cause this morning.

LK should just say “screw em” and take whomever wants to leave

OM is acting like a bitch now

Very objective opinion coming from a fan of LSU.

My message would be to “go forth to your greener pastures.” I would then have all his Ole Miss access removed from systems, facilities, etc. effective yesterday.

No hard feelings, just business. It’s exactly what happens in the corporate world when you hand in your resignation to your employer and they find out your going to a competitor. I think Ole Miss has been pretty cool about it.

It’s why if I were them I would have bit the bullet and just fired him and payed the buyout

Kiffin was always going to burn the frick out of them if he couldn’t get it exactly his way

Yes, this won't end well with all these "meetings". Time to make a move.

Ole Miss telling any staff to “leave now” if they’re considering going with Lane is the opposite of being cool about it.

It's the only way to handle it. Where the frick do you work that you would be allowed to announce that you're leaving for a direct competitor but still allowed to just hang out and recruit for said competitor?

Ole Miss should probably let lane stay and maybe win a playoff game because once he leaves it's never happening again lol

Right. Ole Miss has been a pillar of stoicism throughout this
