He out maneuvered everyone. Look at the other searches in our conference. LSU came out on top. Auburn scared away a guy who always wanted to coach there and Florida is having to settle for a backup. Arkansas is a disaster. Props to President Rousse and everyone else on the committee, they nailed this.

Some people on this board owe an apology or deserve a time out. This board has been an embarrassment since Kelly was fired. All the bullshite with the governor.
LSU got the biggest name coach out there. That hasn’t happened since, ever? Last two coaching cycles the big name told us no.

Guys, Verge Ausberry, a guy making $500,000 per year until very recently, is not the prime decision maker on a $100 million deal. This is a process being driven by whoever is writing the big checks. The AD at LSU is a mid-level executive. One hundred million dollar deals are not the province of mid-level executives.
