Nick Saban helping LSU land Lane...

Is his final moment of closure. I knew he was never coming back to coach, I had my doubts about him helping LSU in any capacity, but he surprised me and a lot of others. I think he wanted someone from his tree here, and (as most know) helped push Lane to take the job.
He won't ever coach LSU again, but this is his final love letter to LSU and their fanbase, catastrophe syndrome and all.

If Coach Nick Saban really did help LSU land Coach Kiffin, then, I feel humbled that such a great CFB figure would help his old school LSU.

Sorry, LSU is NOT elite. They caught lightning in a bottle for 2019 because of several players…. But before and after they pretty much sucked

I’ve never been bitter toward Saban. Without him, LSU may be an afterthought in college football today. He did what he thought was best for his career and it’s just unfortunate that LSU was the stepping stone instead of the final step.

He always regretted leaving LSU. This was his thanks to the fan base that gave him the support he needed to become the GOAT.
