LSUs stance on Lane coaching playoffs?

All we read about is LK wants to coach throughout the playoffs and OM is on the fence.

But do we know what LSU’s stance is? Would they let their HC for next year potentially coach through early signing day and potentially the transfer window? I know it’s a long term play hiring LK but how badly are they willing to derail his first season?

No. Come prepare for 2026.

We have a plane parked in Oxford waiting for him to board it. We obviously dont want him to coach the playoffs

I agree but they seem to be letting LK negotiate his exit

Verge has flat out said he would wait through the playoffs to get our guy if necessary and that’s fine by me.

If he’s coming, he will have boots on the ground immediately

LSU would be perfectly “fine” as long as the lsu contract was signed

But that’s a ridiculous notion

Seems to me this would make recruits happy. LSU is allowing him to do what’s best for his players. The players aren’t being left high and dry.

This is a fight that only one side needs to roll around in the mud over.

As they should. Verge and co are playing this perfectly despite the crying from the special folks in our fanbase.

LSU said they would wait on their coach if he was in the playoffs. They said at the very beginning.

Why would it derail it? There’s nearly 2/3 of a year for him to be at lsu before the season starts still, assuming he even makes it to the championship game. It’s ridiculous that this has to be a thing.

People are wrong if they think lsu is willing to let him go unsigned much longer. Thats just Incorrect as well
