Keith Carter isn’t letting this drag out like Kiffin wants. Carter wants him to announce today so he can hurry up and start trying to negotiate with Sumrall before he signs with Florida.

I agree. I think Lane will give the okay to somebody to release it during the team meeting. He will want to personally tell his players his decision, but he also knows that players will likely be posting to social media and texting others during the meeting. So you'll see the story hit during the meeting.
