Gas prices have dropped to their lowest level since May 2021:

Lower oil costs and strong refinery output have helped drive prices down

Gas prices have dropped below $3 a gallon to their lowest level in more than four years.

The national average for regular fell to $2.95 on Friday, the cheapest price at the pump since May 2021, according to GasBuddy.

“This is a welcome break for Americans ahead of the holiday season and comes as refinery maintenance season concludes and gasoline demand weakens seasonally,” Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said in a release.

In Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas, several dozen stations are selling gas for under $2 per gallon. Meanwhile, California has the highest average at $4.50, but several counties saw prices slip below $4 on Friday.

Oklahoma: $2.37/gallon
Colorado: $2.49/gallon
Louisiana: $2.52/gallon
Mississippi: $2.53/gallon
Texas: $2.55/gallon

California: $4.50/gallon
Washington: $4.08/gallon
Oregon: $3.72/gallon
Nevada: $3.64/gallon
Arizona: $3.29/gallon

This was predicted back in January, before Trump was even sworn in.

I know nothing in your post gave credit to Trump, but someone will be here shortly to do so.

I'm in Norman for the game this afternoon. A few blocks from me the Regular gas is $1.99 a gallon.

WTF?

Who is going to drill the oil if the barrell cost keeps dropping?

Maybe it was predicted because Trump had already won the election 2 months before that article.

President Trump is delivering on his promise to reduce energy cost for American consumers.

Yesterday I tanked up my vehicle for $ 30.29.........$ 30.29.

I’m sure you gave Biden credit for all of Trump’s jobs that returned after the COVID lockdowns.

AND because Trump made it one of his tenets to his administration, if elected. Reduce energy prices ASAP, which was the single greatest factor in high prices of ALL goods.

Meanwhile, Ja Biden had this and autopen going for him...

Oil consumption is rising so oil will go back up in the next year or two.

Gotta love it. It’s been below $2.40 for the last few weeks where I’m at and it’s been $2.25 the last few days.

You can thank OPEC+ as American oil production has been essentially flat, about the same as last year. Expect prices to fall even more next year as demand remains weak and global supply is strong.
