I thought the most telling comment he made was that they have won so many games “without high draft picks and having to construct through the portal which doesn’t always work out”. Paraphrasing but that was the gist of it.

Ole Miss had 8 freaking draft picks last year and missed the playoffs. They had to hit the portal hard because they lost nearly every starter from last year.

The best 2 receivers in the NFL are about 20 miles from each other between Destrehan and the New Orleans Metro area. The amount of football talent on the river between Baton Rouge and New Orleans is insane. Louisiana stacked with skill players.

You’re missing the point dipshit, he wants to recruit better out of the HS ranks.
LSU offers that over ole miss, and it’s not really even debatable.

The talent is there and is almost non existent in Mississippi. When was the last time Ole Miss won anything? The SEC? The National Title?

Excuse me 4 of the top 6 WRs in the LEAGUE(as the kids like to say) were born or played in Louisiana. The WR LSU missed on was from La and won the Heisman. Kiffin’s best WR last year drafted is also from Louisiana.
