But his decision will not be. Relax people.
Ole Miss gave him an opportunity when no one else in the SEC did. I think he wanted to stay, but LSU is a brand he can build a legacy around. Like most players, coaches don't choose Ole Miss over LSU. This is the first step in establishing a dynasty at LSU, and the football program regaining its prestige.
Don't overthink it because he's winning a football game and he's emotional about it. It's hard leaving a program you built. Plus if he lost this game you all would be having reservations about who LSU hired.

The was the agreement with the Ole Miss AD. They can’t afford to let this drag on any longer. That’s why the AD made the statement last Friday that he would announce tomorrow.
