The last time wasn't a prediction. He straight up announced on gameday that miles was heading to Michigan. That was a little different. I think LSU is doing its best not to have a similar leak, that would piss off Lane and change his mind like it did with Miles/Michigan

It's very, very likely that Miles was Michigan-bound but the timing of the story influenced the story. Herbstreit was set up by the Lloyd Carr faction at Michigan via Desmond Howard.
