Anyone got info about a big non typical killed in that area? Saw a pic and wondering if legit. If so it’s a giant.

If anyone did kill that size deer, they aren’t going to post it on a message board. You would be suprised what people will do when chasing a big deer!

I saw the pic. Lots of speculation that it was high fence.

If not, it could challenge State records

Exactly why I haven’t posted it. If it shows up at Simmons I’ll gladly share. Don’t know the guy and it was sent to me so don’t want to blast his pic all over the internet without knowing the story.

I do believe there is a high fence place near there if I’m not mistaken.

In the last couple of years they've put in a high fence in Choudrant called Full Throttle Whitetails and they have a few exotics also. I don't know then or have any association with them.

I saw the picture and can tell you there's no freaking way that deer was killed near Dubach unless it was in a high fence and I've never heard of one in the area.

There's a processor named Dubach Deer Factory which posted it on their web site then deleted the pictures, so something is fishy.

I found the pics

I don’t understand the appeal of growing deer that look like that, might as well be a different species. I guess if it was possible they would breed them, but give me a big typical with mass.

Several regions is the state have “northern genetics” in them. Since the restocking of deer in Louisiana consisted of deer from the upper Midwest.
