I really thought they wouldn’t want to be left at the alter on Saturday with egg on their face after Kiffin announces he’s staying or going to LSU.
They truly must believe they are still in the hunt. So is Sexton stringing everyone along? Is Sexton telling all three schools he (Kiffin) truly won’t decide until after the Egg Bowl?

Whoever they hire is still coaching games with his current team. It’s not weird at all. They’ll announce a new hire early next week like most everybody else.

Now that Drink has extended and LSU has Lane I’m guessing Fisch really is the last option.

I don't think UF is the concern, I think it's the NFL that are cause for concern. Kiffin wanting to Coach OM into the playoffs coincides with the end of the NFL season. Yeah, he was a huge failure at a bad Raiders team, but you're also dealing with a huge ego determined to prove something.

Penn St and Auburn haven’t announced their new coach either. There are rumors at Arkansas but nothing official. The same is true for the majority of openings.
