No leaks to me can only mean Kiffin himself hasn’t made a final decision. Otherwise there are too many people you have to bring in the loop and that’s when the legitimate leaks happen

No final decision has been made. The only speculation you're seeing is from people on each side thinking it's a done deal.

My thinking is that Lane gave LSU a verbal. Too much smoke around here to think otherwise. He possibly told the parties that be that if anything leaked to credible national media before he made an official announcement all bets were off. Not that he would actually change his mind based on that. I’m sure he really does want to keep it under wraps for his player sake. This is a big season for them.

tigerbr1111, that would be so stupid! I'm going to do what i think is best for me, but if word gets out, I will go for other options that are not as good. Make it make sense.

You’re only thinking of it from that limited angle.
You’ve got to at least try to be more open minded that.
Lane can make it contingent without intending to follow through among various other scenarios.

Well that is a giant leap.
It could also mean Kiffin has made a decision and hasn’t told anyone.
It could mean that he’s decided, told one (or both parties), not formalized it in writing and everyone is keeping their mouth shut.
It could mean he’s undecided.
It doesn’t necessarily mean any singular thing.

All I know is the smoke around LSU has been thicker than ever. Alot of confidence from LSU ppl. Too much for me to feel comfortable. Dominos falling so hopefully verge brings it home.
