Please remind me of how Lane did last year with all the talent he had.

I remember how a lot of you, "LSU" , were laughing at him just last year.

Now he walks on water.

Lane has been a really good coach with some flaws for a while now. He also has some attitude with him combined with a great ability to connect with and talk shite with these players.

I think he'd be a GREAT fit at LSU.

I think it's more like we would drown with Drink and Lane can at least swim pretty good.

LSU was very lucky to win that game last year

Ole Miss still went 10-3 with all 3 losses being one score games

Who would you say would give better odds at getting LSU back into the playoffs quickly. Of the available options he has to be the best pick.

This argument doesn’t make much sense to me. He has less talent this year and is in the playoffs….

That’s going to be the hard part, the transition between unrealistic expectations and reality. In reality, lane will have 4 and maybe 5 loss seasons, depending on how good he is will be how few of those seasons there are.

Lane is a flawed coach, just like every coach out there. Sometimes his hubris gets the best of him, but he is certainly as good as any other coach out there right now. I honestly think he is a good combination of two former LSU coaches. He has the systematic approach to things like Saban and he has the passion that O has. Now he is not nearly as extreme as either of those guys, but hopefully it’s a healthy balance.

Going 10-3 at Ole Miss is a very good thing. Dart was terrible in their 3 losses. Totally threw those games away. Please tell me which of the candidates on our list has a flawless resume.

Lanes offenses at Ole Miss have been simply magnificent since he has gotten there and they are number 3 nationally in yards this year. All he has to do is find some serviceable Offensive linemen somewhere and get a OLine coach who knows wtf he’s doing. And he could nail a dc hire but I like what Baker has done this year with the defense with as much flak as he gets. We went from worst defense in our schools history to a legit top 20 defense.

10-3. A 3-point loss to LSU in Tiger Stadium, a 7-point loss to Florida in the Swamp, and an inexplicable 3-point loss to Kentucky.

He also had a 28-10 victory over Georgia.

What's your point?

And? He was at a rival. Also, not sure most think he walks on water, we just know there is no perfect coach, and he will do well if he lands at LSU.

If Judkins doesn't transfer out, they are easily in the playoffs last year. They just couldn't run effectively after he bailed out.

Our best RB, Bentley, rode the bench 95% of the 2024 season without explanation. When he did play, he was explosive. Ole Miss would likely have beaten UK and UF and gotten into the CFP if that hadn’t have happened.

That’s who you will be dealing with. Good luck.

We had Bentley. We didn’t need Judkins. Lane benched Bentley for no reason that was explained, and used guys who weren’t even RB’s as RB’s in the UF game.

Good luck with your autist.
