What’s the going price for a whitetail shoulder mount? Haven’t mounted one in 19 years.

My guy in South Texas charges $950 for whitetail shoulder and $1050 for wall pedestal.

My guy in Junction is charging around $1100 to $1150 for an axis wall pedestal in velvet.

Believe I paid $450 at wildlife reflections in French settlement last year. Very very good work. It may have been $550, can’t really remember.

I paid $550 on the northshore in 2023. Woody Hunt. I’ sure there may be better work out there, but my eye isn’t trained enough to see it.

I found a guy that is sorta new but does a good enough job that you don’t notice anything out of the ordinary on his shoulder mounts…he’s charging me $600. The other guy that I have used probably charges $800+ and takes 2 years to get them done.

European mount. They're dust collectors anyway. I had 2 shoulder mounts. Paid $450-500 around early 2000s. I'll never shoulder mount another one.

I mainly do shoulder mounts unless I shoot a management buck or Nilgai bull for meat that doesn’t have great horns.

User name and hunting doesn’t add up! haha

Have a fella down street that does ours for $450 and does an ok job.

Have another fella lil further away that charges $600 and is a lil better with detail and overall a better in my opinion. Depending on how big deer is and the story behind it depicts where we bring to.

Same, only deer I'll shoulder mount these days are B&C's. Big pain in the arse.

They definitely look great but they are expensive dust collectors. Like I said I had 2. I gave them to my nephew. I won't mount another one. Pictures are enough for me.

I built a 40x20 trophy room at my old house to hold my mounts and planned on being there a long time. Had a lot of wall space to fill up still but moved. I’m a little more limited on space now but have been putting my skull mounts at my camp house to make some room.
