Whats the point of going to Bama if youre at LSU?
Top tier recruiting? No. Saban is gone. NIL.
Location? frick no.
Brand? Maybe Bama has an edge? LSU is right there with em though.

LSU will match bama dollar for dollar.
No HC would ever outright leave LSU for Bama, because if hes doing well enough to be called by them, theres no reason for it.
Edit: Alma Mater is a reason, but Lane went to Fresno State. Lol.
LSU is a destination job. We aint losing him to anyone but the NFL and thats if he even wants to do that.

Then pay the man.
LSU with Kiffin would be the most dangerous the program has ever been and that includes with Saban.
Kiffin has unbelievable experience from a ton of all timers and huge programs, failures that led to him getting his shite together and being a great coach.

They did not want him.
FACT: As long as Nick Saban has any influence at Alabama, which will be until the day he dies. Lane Kiffin will never be the HC at Alabama.

Of all the weird Lane Kiffin melts I’ve seen the last few weeks, this tearful “why didn’t/doesn’t Bama want the coach we’d sell our soul for?!?!!!” tirade is probably the weirdest and saddest. Be a man and stop worrying about Bama validating your weird and desperate desires.
