I believe Chicken also is predicting this outcome for the UF job

https://www.si.com/fannation/college/cfb-hq/news/54-million-college-football-coach-predicted-to-replace-billy-napier-at-florida-jedd-fisch

quote:

Despite the program’s struggles this season, sitting 3-8 overall (2-6 in the SEC), its profile has placed it near the center of a busy coaching carousel.

The market has centered on a handful of high-profile names, notably Lane Kiffin (Ole Miss), Eli Drinkwitz (Missouri), James Franklin (recently hired at Virginia Tech), Brent Key (Georgia Tech), and several others.

However, on a recent episode of the “PFF College Football Show,” PFF’s Max Chadwick brought up another name, Washington’s Jedd Fisch.

“I’m predicting Jed Fisch to be the next head coach at Florida,” Chadwick told PFF’s Dalton Wasserman.

quote:

“I do think Florida is a better job than Washington. So one, it's a better job. Two, he went to Florida. He was an assistant coach at Florida for a little bit,” Chadwick added.

Do you think UF waits to pull the trigger on a coach until Kiffin either signs OM extension or inks a new contract elsewhere?

The info in the article is old. It mentions James Franklin still available.

it’s from 9 hours ago according to the date under the headline

It does refer to him being recently hired at VA tech but I saw that part that was outdated.

It was always Fisch if it wasn’t lane. Florida fans will be mad, but he’s a great hire. Way better thank fricking Kliff.

Fisch is a great coach and who they should've been after all along. If he does well he will retire there.

It seems to be picking up the most smoke the past few days, along with Dabo.
