I just realized that I havent heard anything about them in a few years. They used to receive even national attention. They were all over the place when that storm hit Houston and SE Texas several years ago. 2017, I believe.

Yes the Cajun Navy (tm) still exists



Just want people to know that during this hurricane season, if someone offers to rescue you claiming they’re the Cajun navy but they aren’t officially licensed by the Cajun Navy don’t get in the boat!

There's a group that is expanding out and getting somewhat professional using drones and having access to tracking software.....bot just a bunch of good natured coonasses just jumping in their boats and yanking people from the water....they also do that.

They were working in the Texas Hill Country flood aftermath this past summer.
