I’m hearing that the OM players don’t want to speak to LK

A SMSgt in my squadron who is a OM grad is saying that LK is going to LSU and that OM players are pissed at LK for doing all of this during their best season in forever.
He said that Sumrall would be the choice and that PG would stay as DC because he has a different contract etc. he also said that none of LKs staff wants to leave with him.
This is also the same guy who two weeks ago was saying that LK was the best coach ever and is now shiting all over him to maybe he is just pissed that big brother is taking their coach.

No, the players and staff are pissed that LK has been lying to them for weeks and is tanking a shot at a national title.

He must post on SEC Rant. That is what they are doing over there too. LSU was never going to get a good coach. Lane will never go to LSU. LSU is poor. NOW, all of a sudden, he's no longer a good coach.

if he's interested in staying at ole miss, why risk nuking your season? i guess anything is possible with kiffin, but why risk the egg bowl with the rumors if you are staying?

This situation really sucks for the players. I think it makes Lane look worse than he is. Again, not his fault the media was leaking these things he's not the one speaking about it or rumors. If he had it his way he would just coach his team rest of the year. He says it all the time he's not dealing with rumors/extension until the season is over because they're distractions. Well, this one blew up into a bigger distraction he had 0 control over now it makes him look like a super villain. He's not innocent but he's certainly not the villain being painted. The media hated LSU with BK they'll do it even more here.
They need to change some things in NCAA to prevent this from happening again like Saban said.

My brother and sister both went to Ole Miss and it is hilarious the total shift. He was a God and now he is the worst. I told them that the first thing I said to them when they hired him was that he was going to bolt at some point and leave them pissed. I don’t know why they’re acting so surprised. There is even a chance he will do that to us five or six years down the road for the NFL. I think all of us know that is a possibility, but we don’t freak out about it. I just tell them that they will find another coach and so will we one day if that is what happens. Chill the f out lol

Every rational OM fan knew Lane would leave at some point. It's who he is. The hope was he would leave us in a better position than how he found us - which he has.
As a rational LSU fan, that should be your hope as well. That when he leaves, he's leaving LSU better than how he found it.
