I’m expecting some more definitive news on Lane from national media today

Don’t be surprised if we get something along the lines of this today
“Lane Kiffin and LSU are closing in on a deal north of 95 million”
“Lane and LSU are in talks on the 98 million dollar offer”
To reiterate my confidence, I am told this is a done deal

I’d really rather there be no news or no leaks until LSU puts out an official statement on the new hire once it’s actually been done.
Leaks are fun for the message board banter, but I’d be concerned they make things muddy in all actuality.

If we didnt hear anything definitive this weekend, I dont see anything else dropping until after the egg bowl. Lane locked in on his game now.
